Alexandros Lemonidis

Associate Attorney

Alexandros “Lexy” Lemonidis is an Associate Attorney at Shrader Mendez, bringing litigation and trial experience to the firm’s criminal defense practice.

A native of Florida’s Space Coast, Lexy was introduced to the legal profession early through his mother’s distinguished career as a trial attorney, prosecutor, defense counsel, and circuit court judge. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Florida, he worked for three years in his mother’s solo practice, advancing from legal assistant to office manager and litigation paralegal. This hands-on experience inspired his commitment to criminal defense and advocacy.

Lexy earned his Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law, where he specialized in Advocacy and Trial Skills. During law school, he worked part-time for a criminal defense firm handling state and federal cases and was actively involved in student leadership, serving in Student Government and as a School Ambassador for all three years.

After graduating, Lexy began his legal career at the Office of the Public Defender in Clearwater under Bob Dillinger, one of Florida’s longest-serving public officials. He later joined the Office of the State Attorney in Hillsborough County, where he spent three and a half years prosecuting a broad range of cases—including misdemeanors, domestic violence, juvenile offenses, and serious felonies such as firearms cases, kidnapping, and drug trafficking.

Since joining Shrader Mendez, Lexy has dedicated himself to expanding the firm’s criminal defense capabilities. His experience on both sides of the courtroom and his recent work with the State Attorney’s Office provide invaluable perspective and insight for the firm’s clients.

Lexy resides in Brandon with his wife, Cassi, an elementary art teacher, and their son, Atticus.
