Brian Serakas is an experienced attorney and retired U.S. Army Major with over fifteen years of legal leadership across government, military, intelligence, and corporate environments. His career centers on solving complex legal, contracting, and operational challenges for senior leaders and globally distributed organizations—while bringing a strong foundation in litigation, trial advocacy, and defense work.
Recently Brian served as the Channel Operations Attorney for Textron Specialized Vehicles, supporting more than 700 dealers and distributors across multiple global brands. He managed the full lifecycle of dealer agreements, lead onboarding/offboarding and renewals, advised on marketing law and incentive programs, conducted international due-diligence reviews, and supported cross-border logistics and Incoterms-based contracting. He also managed and advised outside counsel on product liability, warranty disputes, and debt-collection litigation.
Before entering the corporate sector, Brian built a distinguished career in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps, serving in key national security, intelligence, and contracting roles including Army Cyber Command, United States Army Europe, and Intelligence Command across these assignments. He regularly advised on billion-dollar fiscal portfolios, cyber and intelligence operations, multinational exercises, international agreements, procurement fraud, and crisis-driven operational law. Senior leaders repeatedly ranked him in the top 1–2% of all JAG officers for judgment, performance, and leadership.
Earlier in his career, he served as a Defense Counsel at Fort Leonard Wood, where he represented service members in administrative actions, criminal investigations, and courts-martial. He litigated 17 courts-martial—achieving five full acquittals in contested trials—and represented more than 30 clients in administrative separation actions. He managed more than 1,900 client matters.
